Nafisa Abiib is a studioneighbour and this is what she says about her work: In my creative practice I focus on my own family culture with a carving style influenced by tomb stones and ancient architectural buildings in East Africa. I create organic forms carved from brick clay which are inspired by pebbles and seed pods. My intricate patterned surfaces are developed from observations of tree bark and geometry.  here are some images of her work, called 'Kiezels' (2013); taken from here :
